The Gospel Assembly Intercontinental School of Missions (GAI-SOM) is dedicated to maintaining high standards of doctrinal soundness, spiritual integrity, and moral excellence. The institution is committed to operating within established principles without compromise, aiming to gain God's approval and acceptance within the broader Christian community. GAI-SOM emphasizes excellence and altruistic service, distancing itself from any practices that could tarnish its public image.
After extensive consultations, GAI-SOM established an Organizational Management Board to oversee its daily operations. The appointed officers include:
- *Chairman - Schools' Management Board*: Pastor Isaiah Alabi, the General Overseer of GAI.
- *Director - Administration/Bursary*: Pastor Michael Ungwaha, the Deputy General Overseer of GAI.
- *Director - Academics/Registrar*: Pastor Johnson A. Yusuf, the Chairman of the GAI General Council.
- *Acting Principal/Director of Curriculums*: Elder Samuel A. Bello.
GAI-SOM collaborates with several reputable theological institutions, including:
- Igbaja Theological Seminary in Kwara State.
- UMCA College of Theology in Ilorin, Kwara State.
- Baptist Theological College in Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
- The Redeemed Christian School of Missions in Ede, Osun State.
- Agape Christian School of Discipleship & Missions in Ropp, Plateau State.
- The Redeemed Christian Bible College in Mowe, Ogun State.
These collaborations are built upon the counsel of esteemed Christian educationists and theologians, ensuring that GAI-SOM operates within a network of trusted mentors and sister institutions. This network provides guidance and oversight, reinforcing GAI-SOM's commitment to its foundational principles and public image.
GAI-SOM offers various certificates in theological education, reflecting its growth and expansion over the years. Despite facing challenges that led to a period of dormancy, the institution experienced a revival in 2018. By April 2019, after extensive consultations, GAI-SOM was formally re-established as an offshoot of the original Bible School, continuing its mission to train pastors and church leaders.
The institution remains mindful of the standards and doctrinal soundness expected of an organization of its nature and caliber, striving to operate within established principles without compromise. GAI-SOM is committed to excellence and altruistic services, determined to distance itself from any practices that could tarnish its public image.
Through its network of mentors and sister institutions, GAI-SOM ensures that it is not operating in isolation but is part of a broader community dedicated to theological education and spiritual integrity.
